In your new role with GWAL, you will work under the direct supervision of the Functional Managers and be accountable for:
- Supervising end-to-end proposal development, leveraging templates and content libraries to craft tailored, client-centric responses that exceed RFP requirements.
- Ensuring clarity and alignment with client needs by refining technical content drafted by SMEs into compelling narratives.
- Mentoring SMEs on effective communication techniques and leading interviews to extract critical insights, translating technical jargon into persuasive, audience-focused proposals.
- Supervising repository management, curating high-quality content, and implementing systems for easy access to project write-ups, case studies, and reusable materials.
- Analyzing solicitation requirements to repurpose existing content, ensuring compliance and competitive differentiation.
- Developing and executing innovative marketing campaigns across LinkedIn, Google Business, and other platforms to amplify brand presence and engagement.
- Overseeing the design and implementation of the Annual Social Media Calendar, ensuring timely delivery of dynamic content aligned with organizational objectives.
- Supporting the Functional Management Team in designing and developing internal communications, including newsletters, event announcements, and IT updates.
- Analyzing performance metrics to refine strategies and maximize ROI on digital marketing efforts.
- Supervising the maintenance of GWAL Intranet, ensuring consistent branding, accuracy, and relevance of content.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to curate and organize information, enhancing user experience and accessibility.
- Implementing governance policies to maintain up-to-date intranet resources reflecting organizational priorities.
- Planning and managing inventory of promotional materials (e.g., branded gear, event collateral), optimizing budgets and vendor relationships.
- Forecasting organizational needs and streamlining ordering processes to support onboarding, events, and daily operations.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor's Degree in English, Communications, or Marketing.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience creating customized written content for engineering or construction proposals, with an understanding of the proposal lifecycle and content management.
- Familiarity with the engineering and construction sector and/or the ability to understand technical concepts and convey principles clearly when working with technical staff.
- Excellent written and verbal skills to communicate complex technical information persuasively to audiences with varying levels of expertise.
- Ability to create original, compelling, and compliant content in response to RFP questions, highlighting benefits aligned with customer goals.
- Proven mastery of Standard English language usage, grammar, and mechanics.
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate engaging content.
- Knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing best practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining consistent branding.
- Proven strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products, especially Word and Excel, and experience with SharePoint.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical decision-makers and engineers, communicating in language each understands.
- Proficiency in graphic design software and tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Shutterstock, We Video).
