In your new role with GWAL, you will work under the supervision of Functional Managers and be responsible for:

  1. Leading proposal development, utilizing templates and content libraries to craft tailored, client-focused responses that surpass RFP requirements.
  2. Refining technical content from SMEs into clear, compelling narratives aligned with client needs.
  3. Mentoring SMEs on effective communication and leading interviews to extract critical insights.
  4. Managing content repositories for easy access to project write-ups, case studies, and reusable materials.
  5. Analyzing solicitation requirements to adapt existing content for compliance and differentiation.
  6. Developing and executing marketing campaigns on platforms like LinkedIn and Google Business to enhance brand visibility.
  7. Overseeing the social media calendar and ensuring timely, relevant content delivery.
  8. Supporting internal communications, including newsletters and event announcements.
  9. Monitoring performance metrics to optimize digital marketing strategies.
  10. Maintaining the GWAL intranet, ensuring content accuracy and relevance.
  11. Collaborating with teams to organize information and improve user experience.
  12. Implementing governance policies for intranet content management.
  13. Managing promotional materials and inventory, optimizing budgets and vendor relationships.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Communications, or Marketing.
  • At least 5 years of experience creating tailored content for engineering or construction proposals, with knowledge of the proposal process and content management.
  • Understanding of the engineering/construction sector and ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to produce original, compliant, and persuasive content for RFP responses.
  • Strong command of Standard English, grammar, and mechanics.
  • Creative mindset with engaging content generation skills.
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing best practices.
  • Attention to detail and consistent branding.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint, and graphic design tools like Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.
