Job summary

iA Financial Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager, Security, to lead complex cybersecurity initiatives across Canada. You will drive end-to-end delivery, manage scope, schedule, budget, and risks, and partner with cross‑functional teams and senior leadership to ensure value realization.

The role emphasizes governance, strategic planning, and program leadership in a hybrid Canadian environment. Based in Quebec/Quebec City or Montreal, you will collaborate with unilingual English-speaking

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Eight years of experience managing complex technology projects, ideally in cybersecurity.
  • PMP, SAFe, or equivalent certification is an asset.
  • Experience with Vulnerability Management, CTEM, CNAPP, DSPM, IAM or other cybersecurity domains is an asset.
  • Advanced level of French and English.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and deliver complex cybersecurity projects with scope, schedules, budgets, resources, dependencies and risks.
  • Establish governance structures and integrated delivery plans with milestones, costs, dependencies, and risks.
  • Coordinate multiple teams and stakeholders, facilitate trade‑offs, decisions and escalations.
  • Anticipate variances, implement mitigations, resolve issues, and maintain focus on value.
  • Present progress, costs, schedules, risks, decisions and value to governance and leadership.
  • Ensure quality of decision-support materials and provide clear recommendations for decisions.
  • Support seamless transition of solutions to operations and consolidate interdependencies for future roadmap alignment.
  • Foster collaboration, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.

You will lead projects from end to end, ensuring predictable, transparent, and value-driven execution. You will also develop an integrated view of cyber resilience initiatives with the opportunity to eventually assume operational leadership of the program, including planning and overseeing integrated execution, prioritizing initiatives, and driving performance and governance. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, execute, and deliver complex, strategic cybersecurity projects while managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, dependencies, and risks.
  • Establish governance structures aligned with project size and risk profile, and develop and maintain integrated delivery plans that include milestones, resources, costs, dependencies, and risks.
  • Coordinate multiple internal and external teams, align stakeholders around common objectives, and facilitate trade‑off discussions, decision‑making, and escalations at the appropriate level.
  • Anticipate variances, implement mitigation strategies, and resolve issues and roadblocks while maintaining focus on priorities, outcomes, and expected value.
  • Produce a consolidated, fact‑based view of project health and regularly present progress, costs, schedules, risks, required decisions, and delivered value to governance committees and senior leadership.
  • Ensure the quality of decision‑support materials and provide clear recommendations to enable effective decision‑making.
  • Secure expected outcomes and ensure a smooth transition of solutions and responsibilities to operational teams.
  • Develop a consolidated view of initiatives and their interdependencies, support other project managers, and contribute to the alignment of project management practices.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
  • Gradually contribute to the consolidation of the program roadmap, priorities, decisions, interdependencies, and performance indicators in preparation for eventually assuming operational leadership of the program.

  • Can interpret risk and performance indicators and translate them into delivery priorities.
  • Has strong proficiency with planning, financial tracking, and reporting tools.
  • Holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Has experience in program leadership or portfolio management of strategic initiatives.
  • Holds a PMP, SAFe, or equivalent certification, considered an asset.
  • Has experience with Vulnerability Management, CTEM, CNAPP, DSPM, IAM, or other cybersecurity domains, considered an asset.
  • Has an advanced level of French and English, as the incumbent will collaborate daily with unilingual English‑speaking partners, teams, and stakeholders located across Canada.
