Job summary

iA Financial Group seeks a Lead Full Stack Developer to drive end-to-end solution delivery across UI, back-end services, data, and deployment pipelines. You will shape technical direction, ensure secure, scalable design, and mentor a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires expertise across .NET Core, C#, React, APIs, SQL Server, and modern DevOps tooling, with strong French language skills and collaboration with cross-Canada teams. A hybrid work model is offered.

  • 10 years of IT experience with strong software development background.
  • Proven leadership in full stack development and solution integration.
  • Solid understanding of Agile, secure development, test automation, and CI/CD.

As a Lead Full Stack Developer, you will be at the heart of our mission.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand, validate, and translate business needs into effective technology solutions.
  • Develop, integrate, and evolve high-performing Full Stack solutions, from user interfaces to services, data, testing, and production deployment.
  • Contribute to the team's technical direction by applying established standards and promoting best practices in development, integration, security, and maintainability.
  • Build modern, accessible, and maintainable web interfaces while ensuring seamless integration with APIs and enterprise systems.
  • Work closely with the team to perform technical analysis, programming, configuration, and integration of full stack solutions, spanning user interfaces, back-end services, data, testing, delivery pipelines, and production support, while adhering to a “just enough, just in time” approach.
  • Enhance development practices by integrating security, quality, automated testing, and observability earlier in the process to support reliable, maintainable, and secure delivery.
  • Implement and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices to ensure reliable and efficient solution delivery.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex issues across the entire application lifecycle, both in development and production environments.
  • Serve as a technical reference for the team by fostering knowledge sharing, code quality, continuous improvement, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is recognized for their technical leadership, development rigor, and ability to propose pragmatic, maintainable solutions aligned with the team’s technical direction.
  • Stands out for their ability to solve complex problems and effectively diagnose issues across the entire application landscape.
  • Demonstrates strong expertise in Full Stack development and the associated technology ecosystem, including .NET Core, C#, React, PowerShell, Bash, REST APIs, MS-SQL 2016 or later, Git source control, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Azure Pipelines (YAML), Postman, and GitHub Copilot used responsibly and productively.
  • Versatility across both Windows and Linux environments is also expected.
  • Is recognized for strong collaboration, communication, and knowledge-sharing skills within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Has 10 years of experience in Information Technology, including significant experience in application development and solution integration.
  • Possesses a solid understanding of Agile principles, secure development practices, test automation, and CI/CD methodologies, with a focus on integrating quality and security earlier in the software development lifecycle.
  • Has experience with integration architectures, APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions, particularly within an Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps Services, Kafka/Confluent Cloud, and Dynatrace environment.
  • Knowledge of Terraform, Java, Rancher, Salesforce, MuleSoft, or ServiceNow is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrates the ability to integrate artificial intelligence responsibly into daily work practices to enhance analysis, development, documentation, testing, and productivity.
  • Has an advanced level of French and an intermediate level of English, as the role requires monthly communication via email and calls with English-speaking colleagues and partners across Canada.
