iA Financial Group in Montreal is seeking an IT Solutions and Data Designer to design, develop, implement, and evolve secure data solutions. You will collaborate with partners and delivery teams, serve as a technical reference, and contribute to testing, deployments, and maintenance.

Ideal candidates have strong SQL, Python, data modeling, and ETL/ELT expertise, plus Azure/Snowflake/Databricks experience, and an advanced level of French with intermediate English.

What You Will Accomplish with Us

• Analyze business needs, translate them into practical technology solutions, and produce detailed designs aligned with architectural guidelines
• Design, develop, test, and maintain application and data components, including models, data flows, processing rules, and data integration, transformation, and loading pipelines
• Implement and enhance data warehouses, data marts, interfaces, and analytical solutions while ensuring data quality, traceability, and operational reliability
• Act as a technical reference, guide the delivery team, contribute to the adoption of best practices, and ensure the technical quality of deliverables, including coordinating testing activities and code reviews
• Contribute to estimations, planning, documentation, obsolescence management, change management, and production deployments while integrating security, compliance, and access management requirements, as well as participating in incident resolution and audit activities

• Has experience with Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar technologies, which is considered an asset
• Has knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry, which is considered an asset
• Has an advanced level of French and an intermediate level of English, as the position requires daily communication with unilingual English-speaking suppliers and partners across Canada through emails and phone calls
