Job summary

Stantec’s Buildings team in Calgary is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, fast-paced design projects at the forefront of mission critical technology, including data center facilities. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with clients, consultants, engineers, architects, and leadership.

This role offers significant long-term growth within the firm, with PMP preferred and a degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 15+ years leading complex, large-scale building projects.
• 5+ years of project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, forecasting, and organization of multidisciplinary project teams for design, production, and document delivery.
• Manage the design of mission critical and data center facilities, ensuring reliability.
• Coordinate with consultants, internal team members, contractors, and client representatives throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project budgets, codes, jurisdictional requirements, and approval processes.
• Represent the firm confidently in meetings, presentations, and public settings.
• Travel occasionally within the United States for site visits and client or team coordination.
