Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Construction Contract Administrator to join our Alberta-based team on complex projects. You will manage the construction phase from award through turnover, coordinating with clients, project managers, and subconsultants on-site.

You will lead change management, review drawings, and mentor junior staff, with responsibilities spanning contract amendments, payment certifications, and project documentation. Flexibility for travel and security screening is required.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of procurement and contracting principles, methods and practices.
• Ability to lead cross-discipline construction contract administration teams.
• Ability to evaluate, negotiate and resolve complex change claims, disputes and delay impacts.

Responsibilities

• Interpret contract documents and ensure compliance.
• Monitor construction progress on site; travel as required.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, subconsultants and architects to advance deliverables.
• Prepare, coordinate and process change documents.
• Review shop drawings and submittals; respond to RFIs.
