Job summary

Nch’ ay̓ Corporation in West Vancouver, BC seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional projects from initiation through closure, applying PMO governance and partnering with sponsors and stakeholders.

Reporting to the Director, PMO, you will mentor junior staff, manage risk, scope, schedules, and resources, and apply waterfall, agile, or hybrid methods to deliver outcomes aligned with the Nation’s strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
• PMP certification is required.
• 6–9 years of progressive project management experience.
• Experience leading multi-workstream projects in governance-driven environments.
• Knowledge of PMBOK, Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead scope definition workshops and establish baselines with sign-off.
• Develop integrated project plans with dependencies and critical path analyses.
• Identify stakeholders and design engagement strategies.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution and remove blockers.
• Coach and mentor junior project managers and project coordinators.
• Lead risk management, change control, and status reporting.
• Ensure audit-ready documentation and governance compliance.
• Close projects with financial reconciliation and benefits tracking.
