Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Senior Project Manager for a 1-year contract in Kitimat, BC. You will lead planning and delivery from initiation to completion, focusing on contracts, resources, budgets, changes and risks in a heavy industrial setting.

The role requires P.Eng or an equivalent technical background, demonstrated leadership, and experience managing consultants or engineering firms within a multinational, unionized environment.

Qualifications

• Senior project management experience overseeing capital or closure projects.
• Experience in heavy industry, unionized, multinational environment.
• P.Eng or equivalent technical background.

Responsibilities

• Implements projects in accordance with the approved scope
• Implements an effective stakeholder engagement plan through the life of the project
• Monitors, manages and reports all relevant project performance indicators to meet business requirements
• Manages relationships with key project stakeholders
• Provides technical support to project stakeholders
• Collaborates with stakeholders to define, estimate and deliver on requirements
• Resolves any project delivery performance issues in a timely manner
• Assists with the sourcing of vendors / consultants as required
• Identifies and where appropriate implements improvements to project delivery methods

This individual will oversee the planning and delivery of projects from initiation to completion, focusing on achieving business and project objectives through managing contracts, resources, budgets, changes, and risks. Projects may be capital or closure project.
