Job summary

AltaGas Ltd. is seeking a Project Manager for the NEBC Expansion Program in Calgary. The $125MM program includes fractionation, liquids treatment and rail expansion, developed through FEED and sanctioned for execution.

The project manager will coordinate resources, stakeholders, and leadership communication to ensure delivery in line with AltaGas’ Project Delivery Model. Candidates should hold a P.Eng. in Alberta or BC and have 10+ years as a Project Manager on large oil/gas projects, with

Qualifications

Registered P.Eng. on a relevant Scope of Practice in Alberta and/or B.C.
10+ years of experience as a Project Manager on large scale oil and/or gas projects, gas midstream preferred.
Experience progressing from front-end concept through to detailed design using a gated approach.

Responsibilities

Deliver a safety-first mindset across all project aspects (design, procurement, fabrication, construction).
Develop detailed project plans through a gated process including quality, design, budget, schedule and responsibilities.
Act as central point of contact for execution activities and communicate expectations to teams and stakeholders.
Develop and oversee construction management for on-site activities with focus on safe, high-quality assets.
Manage contractual relationships and ensure performance aligns with agreements.
Provide coaching and leadership to project team on issues, risks, and project approach.
Monitor progress, report status to stakeholders, and manage schedule/workstreams and cost dashboards.
