Job summary

CANUSA EPC LLC in Calgary seeks an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead and grow the electrical engineering team, set technical standards, and deliver safe, compliant designs for North American projects.

You will mentor engineers, manage budgets and schedules, collaborate with clients, and drive the delivery of complex CO2 capture, natural gas processing, power generation, and related facilities across Canada and the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized program.
• 10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience in oil & gas, gas processing, power generation, or related industries.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or managing engineers and designers.
• Strong knowledge of hazardous-location electrical design and Canadian electrical codes (CSA, IEEE).
• P.Eng. registration strongly preferred; US PE is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor electrical engineers and designers across multiple projects.
• Establish and enforce electrical engineering standards, templates, procedures, and design tools.
• Manage electrical engineering budgets, schedules, deliverables, and resource forecasts.
• Coordinate electrical resources with Project Managers and clients; support proposals and business development.
• Represent CANUSA EPC in client meetings and technical reviews.
