Placements24 is recruiting a strategic Senior Project Manager for a national mining leader to drive enterprise-wide application implementations. The role is based remotely with occasional travel to Kimberley and focuses on ERP upgrades, CRM deployments, and other critical systems to improve efficiency and decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, business administration, computer science, or related field.
• 8+ years of project management with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, SCM).
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.

About the Role

Our client, a national leader in the mining sector, is seeking a strategic Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation and integration of enterprise-wide applications across their operations. Based remotely with occasional travel to **Kimberley**, this role is crucial for enhancing operational efficiency and decision-making through advanced business systems. You will manage projects involving ERP upgrades, CRM implementations, and other critical enterprise software solutions. Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of enterprise application projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with business stakeholders and IT leadership. Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and risks, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Oversee the selection, implementation, and integration of new enterprise software solutions (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce). Facilitate communication and collaboration among project teams, business unit representatives, and external vendors. Manage change management processes to ensure smooth adoption of new systems and processes by end-users. Develop comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk assessments, and training materials. Ensure solutions meet business requirements, quality standards, and regulatory compliance. Conduct post-implementation reviews and identify opportunities for continuous system improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in project management, with a strong focus on implementing and managing enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, SCM). Proven track record of successfully delivering complex enterprise IT projects. Solid understanding of mining industry business processes and requirements is a significant advantage. Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow). Excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and priorities in a dynamic, distributed environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable.
