Stantec’s Buildings team seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects from initiation to close, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and client satisfaction. You will mentor other PMs and serve as the primary communications link among clients, subconsultants, and internal teams, guiding multi-phase design and construction efforts.

You will manage projects of varying sizes and complexities using Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, or Bridging methods, while maintaining QA/QC, risk

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
• 7+ years of Project Management experience in a related field.
• Formal Project Management training.

Responsibilities

• Drive the work on the project; set priorities, procedures, scope and schedule; publish and coordinate project team assignments.
• Manage assigned projects through all stages of the project lifecycle: Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring & Control, Closure.
• Follow and implement all established company processes and procedures.
• Facilitate project kickoff meetings to define objectives, scope, design and schedule.
• Develop a detailed Work Plan for completing the design within scope, timeline and budget.
• Direct, coordinate, mentor and support the project team to meet client and profitability goals.
• Maintain financial records and keep stakeholders informed on financial status.
• Identify QA/QC requirements and schedule technical reviews.
• Manage client expectations and participate in client meetings as required.
• Proactively identify opportunities to expand services and pursue new projects.
• Manage a portfolio with revenue target of $1+ million annually.
