Government of the Northwest Territories is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Client IT Infrastructure Projects. You will lead large-scale IT infrastructure initiatives within the Technology Service Centre, serving as the client advocate from inception through implementation and evaluation.

The Department of Finance has the mandate to provide leadership and direction to the public service in all areas of finance and human resource management. This mandate includes negotiating major financial arrangements with the federal government, providing analysis and advice to the Financial Management Board, and ensuring that financial and information resources are managed effectively, efficiently and economically. This mandate also includes the recruitment and retention of a competent public service that is representative of the people it serves andthe development of programs and services that effectively serve the human resource needs of the public service.
The Senior Project Manager, Client Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure Projects is responsible for leading large scale IT infrastructure projects for the Government of Northwest Territories (GNWT) Departments. The position is the senior project manager and Client advocate within the Technology Service Centre (TSC) and is accountable for all phases of the project, from inception through implementation, to evaluation and continued operations.
A bachelor's degree in computer science or business administration with 3 years of experience in IT project management.
All other equivalencies will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

The salary range for this position is from $59.62 per hour to $71.22 per hour (approximately $116,259 - $138,879.) plus an annual Northern Allowance of $3,700.
