Housing NWT provides access to adequate, suitable and affordable housing through the provision of housing programs and services based on need.

Job Information

As Vice President, Operations and Programs, you will be a key member of the Corporation's executive management team, guiding the delivery of housing programs and services across five district offices serving 33 communities. You will lead a diverse team of senior managers, oversee significant operational and capital budgets, and work collaboratively with governments, Indigenous organizations, community partners, and stakeholders to advance innovative housing solutions that promote affordability, sustainability, and community self-reliance.

This is an exceptional opportunity for an individual with a strong background in social program delivery, organizational leadership, and strategic planning to make a lasting impact on the lives of Northerners while helping shape the future of housing across the territory.

Key Qualifications
A relevant university degree, with a minimum of ten (10) years' experience in a social program delivery setting, including a minimum of three (3) years at a managerial level of regional and community level housing operations.

Equivalencies
A relevant post graduate degree, with a minimum of eight (8) years' experience in a social program delivery setting, including a minimum of three (3) years at a managerial level of regional and community level housing operations.

All other equivalencies will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Relevant education includes, but is not limited to:
Business Administration, Economics, Indigenous Governance, Law, Political Science, Public Administration, Public Policy, Social Sciences. Community Development, Urban and Regional Planning
