Job summary

Northern Health is seeking a Project Manager, Capital Projects and Planning to lead capital projects within a progressive culture in BC’s Northern region. You will oversee planning, design and construction, coordinating with consultants and contractors to meet operational needs and timelines.

The role emphasizes conflict resolution, stakeholder engagement, and active participation in master planning and space planning initiatives, with a focus on delivering quality healthcare facilities.

Qualifications

• University degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field with advanced project management courses.
• Five to seven years of progressive experience in project planning/design and management in a large environment.
• Equivalent education, training and experience accepted.
• Health-care experience and PMP or related degree are assets.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, design and construction phases of capital projects.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, consultants and contractors to address operational requirements.
• Monitor, control and report on project scope, budgets and timelines.
• Support master planning, space planning and facility redevelopment initiatives.
