The Weeneebayko Area Health Authority (WAHA) seeks a Director of Capital Projects to lead major healthcare infrastructure initiatives across the western James Bay coast. This role requires strategic oversight of project delivery, budgets, and schedules, working with design consultants and contractors to ensure safe, timely completion.

You will engage with diverse stakeholders, manage risk, and build strong partnerships with communities.

Qualificações

• Post-secondary education in a related discipline (PM, engineering, architecture) or equivalent.
• Minimum eight years of progressive project management experience in engineering/construction.
• Experience delivering large healthcare/infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of schedules, costing, budgets, change orders and financial matters.
• Valid G Driver's License.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to project teams across all delivery phases.
• Manage stakeholder relationships and mitigate risks to meet objectives.
• Collaborate with design consultants and contractors to manage project risk.
• Resolve contract interpretation disputes with the VP of Capital Redevelopment and Support Services.
• Prepare briefing materials for senior management and the community as required.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and proper archiving.
