Contract Period: 12 months with potential to extend or convert

Location: Toronto, ON

Location Type: Hybrid; onsite 2 days per week

Business Hours: Monday to Friday; Core Business Hours

MUST HAVE:

• 1.) FI / Banking industry 8+ years
• 2.) Complex project management 8+ years
• 3.) Executive Stakeholder management
• 4.) Treasury experience
• 5.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interactions with senior executive stakeholders

Certifications:

• PMP certification, CSM or equivalent

Experience & Qualification Requirements:

• 8 to 10 years of experience in the Finance/Banking industry
• 8+ years of experience in complex project management
• Proven leadership skills
• Full lifecycle development experience with proven project methodology tools
• PMI or ITIL certification
• Expertise in MS Project, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint

Job Responsibilities:

• Indirectly manage project teams including Business Analysts, Business SMEs, and technology resources where applicable
• Engage with the executive sponsor to ensure active participation in project initiatives
• Engage stakeholders to identify and manage required project outcomes
• Establish effective project oversight and governance bodies, engaging appropriate levels to support project direction
• Provide ongoing communication to key stakeholders including Project Sponsor, Business Project Owner, Program Manager, and Portfolio Manager regarding project status and significant changes
• Respond to inquiries and escalate concerns from stakeholders at all levels (technical, business, senior, and executive management)
• Provide advice and guidance to business partners and project teams on best practices in project management
