Construction Project Manager

The Field Capital Project Manager (FCPM) executes in-store research, planning, and project management of all annual merchandising strategic initiatives. The FCPM will take projects from concept to execution in-store, working with cross-functional partners to bring these projects to fruition.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the implementation of all Merchandising Strategic Initiatives within assigned regions/stores, collaborating with Merchandising Operations leadership.
2. Manage Merchandising Strategic Initiatives from data gathering, modeling, and testing phases through full implementation.
3. Partner with Store Planning, Space Planning, Construction, Logistics, Merchandising, and Operations to drive merchandising strategies.
4. Coordinate with the store planning team on space allocation within prototypes.
5. Conduct category analysis with the assortment planning team to ensure space productivity and optimal allocation.
6. Provide and present draft layouts for Merchandising SLT approval.
7. Adjust store layouts based on department priorities and product adjacencies.
8. Work with fixture design team to maximize space efficiency with new fixtures.
9. Ensure layouts are adaptable for future changes with minimal disruption.
10. Collaborate with Visual Merchandising on point-of-purchase concepts.
11. Manage projects from start to finish, developing charters, processes, and timelines.
12. Report risks, roadblocks, and ensure toll gate adherence.
13. Maintain communication with field teams and cross-functional partners on critical issues.

Reporting Structure and Travel:

Reports to: Manager, Execution. No direct reports. Travel up to 50% locally and overnight.

Physical and Work Environment:

Extended sitting, repetitive tasks, standing, hybrid work environment (4 days in-office), working in dusty/noisy store/warehouse settings.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant retail experience, preferably in large format retail.
