Base pay range

CA$70.00/hr - CA$80.00/hr

Responsibilities:

• Lead a company-wide initiative focused on Bill 96 compliance, ensuring all customer-facing and internal business communications (policies, contracts, quotes, marketing materials, websites, etc.) are aligned with Quebec’s French language legislation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including legal, marketing, compliance, and product to manage timelines and ensure deliverables meet language and regulatory standards.
• Own the end-to-end project lifecycle - from developing detailed project plans to setting milestones, monitoring progress, and managing risks.
• Act as a subject matter expert on Bill 96, advising teams on compliance and helping ensure legal accuracy in documentation and communication.
• Facilitate change management activities, guiding stakeholders through changes related to language and process adjustments.

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Project Manager, ideally in a corporate or insurance environment.
• Proven experience managing business-side projects (not just technical), including product launches, marketing campaigns, and organizational changes.
• Direct experience with Bill 96 - ideally has already led or supported a full compliance project.
• Fluent in French (written & verbal) - must be able to review and validate French documentation.
• Strong understanding of Bill 96 and its impact on business communication in Quebec.
• Skilled in change management and working with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with legal, compliance, marketing, and senior business leaders.
• Conflict resolution and stakeholder negotiation skills are critical.

Plusses:

• Prior experience working in the Commercial Insurance industry.
