Job summary

Solutions Metrix seeks a Senior Project Manager for Financial Services Digital Transformation in a hybrid Montreal environment. You will lead multiple client engagements, own scope, budget and schedule, and guide executives and IT leads as the main contact.

You’ll report to the Head of PMO, take over handoffs, build plans, manage budgets, and drive delivery in Jira with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Bilingual in French and English preferred.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT project management with CRM implementations.
• Experience running multiple fixed-budget client projects.
• Enough technical depth to follow an integration design and spot data migration risks.
• Fluent French and English.
• Strong presentation skills for steering committees and executives.
• Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Microsoft 365.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or business, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Take over signed contracts from Sales and hand off to delivery.
• Build project, release, staffing and communication plans and review budgets at kickoff.
• Run delivery in Jira using Agile/Scrum.
• Track hours against the SOW budget weekly and forecast completion.
• Maintain a live RAID log and negotiate time/resources with clients and vendors.
• Plan go-live and post-launch support, close projects with sign-off and final billing.
• Publish weekly status reports and bi-weekly invoicing reports.
• Own escalations and provide regular feedback to team members.

Senior Project Manager, Financial Services Digital Transformation

The role You'll lead several client engagements at once and own their scope, budget, schedule and quality. Clients, from executive sponsors to marketing and IT leads, will rely on you as their main contact. As a senior PM, you'll also step in on off-track projects, support portfolio governance and coach other PMs. You'll report to the Head of PMO.

What you'll do

• Take over signed contracts from Sales and run the handoff to delivery
• Build the project plan, release plan, staffing and communication plan, and walk clients through their fixed-price or T&M budget at kickoff
• Run delivery in Jira using Agile/Scrum
• Track hours against the SOW budget weekly, keep a forecast to complete, and raise budget risks before they become overruns
• Maintain a live RAID log and negotiate with clients and vendors for the time, resources or decisions the project needs
• Plan go-live and post-launch support, then close projects formally with sign-off, final billing and a lessons-learned session
• Publish weekly status reports and the bi-weekly invoicing report for Finance
• Own escalations, handle difficult client conversations, and give team members regular feedback

What you bring

• 8+ years of IT project management, including CRM implementations (Creatio, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics or similar)
• Experience running several fixed-budget client projects at once, with accountability for margin and timeline
• Enough technical depth to follow an integration design, challenge an estimate and spot a risky data migration
• Fluent French and English
• Strong presentation skills for steering committees and executives
• Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence and Microsoft 365
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or business, or equivalent experience

Nice to have

• Experience with banks, credit unions or other financial institutions
• Agile/Scrum certification (PSM, CSM, DASM or PMI-ACP)
• Creatio experience or certification
• Familiarity with Symitar, Fiserv, MeridianLink or another core banking or lending platform
