Job summary

Petroff Partnership Architects is seeking a Senior Project Manager at our Markham office to lead a diverse portfolio across commercial, retail and industrial sectors. The candidate will oversee multiple projects, coordinate with clients and consultants, and drive project success from planning through construction.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture or related field.
• 20+ years of relevant project experience in commercial/retail and industrial sectors.
• Knowledge of Building Codes, standards, building construction, details and building science.
• Ability to supervise production of several projects simultaneously, while leading and working within a team environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate within the project team.
• Meet with clients to discuss project requirements.
• Review and approve project shop drawings; coordinate with sub-consultants.
• Conduct routine site visits to monitor progress; provide site design review updates.
• Conduct contract administration.
• Review working drawings & permit sets; coordinate with sub-consultants as needed.
• Resolve site issues related to construction and coordination challenges; answer RFIs.
• Prepare occasional design sketches and 3D designs.
• Liaise with project stakeholders.

Our Markham office is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager to work on a diverse portfolio with an emphasis on commercial, retail, and industrial projects. • 20 plus years of relevant project experience in the commercial/retail and industrial sectors
• Knowledge of current Building Codes, standards, building construction, details and building science
• Ability to supervise production of several projects simultaneously, while leading and working within a team environment
• Comfortable dealing with project stakeholders, from consultants to contractors to AHJ to clients and upper management
• Thrive in a high-pace environment and demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit and Microsoft Office
