This role centers on commercial, retail, and industrial projects, coordinating closely with clients, consultants, and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Professional degree in Architecture, Architectural Science, or Architectural Technology.
• 15+ years of project experience in commercial/retail and industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of current Building Codes, standards, construction methods, detailing, and building science.
• Proven ability to supervise the production of multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform well in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and collaborate within the project team.
• Meet with clients to define and refine project requirements.
• Review and approve shop drawings; coordinate with sub-consultants.
• Conduct routine site visits to monitor construction progress and provide design review feedback.
• Perform full contract administration responsibilities.
• Review and approve internal and consultant proposals and project budgets.
• Conduct code reviews.
• Review working drawings and permit sets; coordinate revisions with sub-consultants.
• Resolve on-site construction and coordination issues.
• Respond to RFIs and provide supplemental instructions as required.
• Prepare occasional design sketches and 3D visualizations.
• Liaise with all project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Comfortable engaging with a wide range of project stakeholders, including consultants, contractors, AHJs, clients, and senior management
