Our Alberta based client is in search of a Senior Project Manager to spearhead growth initiatives, drive acquisition strategies, and manage construction project execution.

What you’ll be responsible for :

• Overseeing multi-family development projects.
• Developing and managing project budgets to meet profitability targets.
• Implementing measures to prevent cost overruns and ensure financial discipline.
• Analyzing financial performance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and adjusting strategies to optimize profit.
• Defining overall project timelines in collaboration with the Senior Construction Manager and sales team.
• Overseeing Project Managers to ensure projects stay on track with budget and profitability goals.
• Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and efficient resolution of issues.
• Recruiting, mentoring, and supporting project management staff.

What we’re looking for :

• Project Management Certification and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10 years of senior project management experience, with at least 5 years in local construction.
• Extensive expertise in managing complex projects and applying project management principles.
• Ability to identify market trends and opportunities to guide strategic decisions.
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost control, and financial performance analysis.
• Strong experience in overseeing large-scale projects and implementing best practices to ensure successful delivery.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to build relationships with various stakeholders.
• Proven ability to mentor and guide project management teams, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
