Job summary

Metrolinx is seeking a Senior Project Officer to lead the implementation of approved operational strategies and business efficiency initiatives through end-to-end project management. You will work with cross-functional teams to understand customer experience trends and ensure project quality and deliverability.

Responsibilities include defining scope, managing budgets and timelines, and coordinating governance to drive successful outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver customer experience and strategic business initiatives across the project lifecycle (initiation to closeout).
• Define project scope, assess options, and develop policies, procedures, design standards, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Assess requirements, readiness, change impacts, feasibility, and business case viability to ensure successful outcomes.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, quality management, risks, communications, and acceptance criteria.
• Build and lead cross-functional teams and governance committees to drive alignment and delivery.
• Create and enhance business processes, policies, and procedures to support operational excellence.
• Direct and coordinate project activities, ensuring quality standards, timelines, budgets, and change management.
