Read Jones Christoffersen LTD (RJC) is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the technical execution and design of structural systems across projects in Ottawa. You will support planning, foster client relationships, and contribute to financial planning and growth initiatives.

The role emphasizes mentorship of junior engineers, collaboration across teams, and ongoing professional development to advance internal knowledge and project outcomes within the RJC organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is required.
• P.Eng registration with PEO or eligibility.
• 4–10 years of structural engineering experience.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical execution and design of structural systems for projects.
• Support project planning and maintain client relationships.
• Mentor and develop junior team members; share knowledge and guidance.
• Coordinate with field staff and ensure alignment across project phases.
• Contribute to financial planning, budgeting and proposal development.
