University of Ottawa is seeking a Lead Project Manager, Project Management at the Main Campus in Ottawa, ON. The role focuses on delivering large facilities projects on time and within budget, leading multidisciplinary teams within a matrix structure, and ensuring governance and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will develop business cases, charters, and integrated plans, while coordinating with clients and stakeholders to meet objectives and ensure successful project handovers to operations.

Formación

• Post-secondary certification or technology diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or Project Management or a relevant combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in construction project management.
• PMP designation or equivalent accreditation is an asset.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and coordinate the delivery of assigned projects through all life-cycle stages: initiation, planning, design, procurement, construction, commissioning and close-out.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and controls; escalate significant matters as needed.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, sponsors, vendors and project team members; communicate status and decisions clearly.
