Job summary

GHD is seeking a Project Manager to lead complex, multidisciplinary facilities and infrastructure projects in Canada. The role is based in Ottawa with flexibility to work from GTA offices, operating within a hybrid model that blends in-office collaboration with remote work.

You will coordinate architectural and engineering disciplines, provide strong project leadership, manage scope, schedule, budget and risk, and serve as the client interface and technical advisor.

Qualifications

• 8–15 years of experience delivering multi-disciplinary facilities/buildings projects.
• Experience in an engineering or professional services environment.
• Fluent French is mandatory.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of multidisciplinary building and facilities projects.
• Coordinate architectural and engineering disciplines for design integration.
• Serve as primary client interface and trusted technical advisor.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across mechanical, electrical, process, structural and architectural topics.
• Establish technical governance with design reviews and risk-based decisions.
• Provide technical oversight to ensure compliant, constructible designs.
• Plan and control scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risk.
• Lead proposal development and pursuit activities.
• Facilitate project kick-offs and technical workshops.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Identify follow-on opportunities and support repeat business.
• Demonstrate a self-starter mindset with proactive ownership.
