Job summary

WSP in Toronto is seeking a Senior Project Coordinator to join our Project Management team. You will support multiple projects from planning through closeout, coordinating communications, governance, and reporting to ensure successful delivery.

You will work with Project Managers, clients, consultants, and vendors, reviewing drawings, contracts, and reports while visiting sites as required. A background in engineering, construction, or related fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline.
• 5-8 years of project coordination, administration, construction, facilities, or related delivery experience.
• Experience supporting projects through the complete lifecycle.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Smartsheet, Bluebeam, and document management systems.
• Ability to interpret design drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with clear communication to diverse stakeholders.
• Security Clearance (or Reliability Status) is an asset.
• Ability to travel throughout the GTA and perform site visits.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project communications, governance activities, and reporting to support project delivery.
• Support multiple projects through planning, design, tendering, contract administration, implementation, and closeout.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, consultants, and vendors.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and issues, and assist in timely resolution with Project Managers and teams.
• Review drawings, specs, contracts, RFIs, site instructions, change notices and project reports for decision-making.
• Conduct site verification activities before, during, and after project execution to validate requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, records, and governance-compliant controls.
• Contribute to continuous improvement through client service, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
