You will thrive if you are a strong communicator, skilled at managing multiple priorities, detail-oriented, and excited to play a critical role at the intersection of strategy, programs, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Grant Management and Reporting (GAC restricted grant)

● Lead project management and reporting for a restricted grant from Global Affairs Canada, ensuring compliance with deliverables, timelines, and financial requirements. The project to conclude in December 2025 with final project reporting due in February 2026.
● Coordinate activities across partner teams and stakeholders to track progress, address risks, and maintain
alignment with grant commitments.
● Prepare and submit high-quality narrative and financial reports in collaboration with finance + program teams.
● Monitor grant budgets and support expenditure tracking and reporting.
● Serve as the primary point of contact internally for all matters related to the GAC grant.
● Support the development of concept notes and proposals for potential project partnerships with GAC.

Cross-Portfolio Project Coordination

● Provide hands-on project coordination support across initiatives spanning Programs, Applied Learning, Communications, and Venn, our data analytics ecosystem.
● Develop project plans, track milestones, flag risks, and facilitate solutions to maintain project momentum.
● Assist in strategic initiatives and special projects.

Executive Support

● Act as a critical support partner to the Managing Director in advancing organizational priorities.
● Coordinate multi-departmental projects, streamline workflows, and facilitate decision-making processes.
● Support prospecting and proposal development for research- and Venn-related grant opportunities by coordinating inputs, conducting funder scans, and contributing to proposal narratives.
● Prepare briefs, project updates, and strategic communications for internal and external stakeholders.
● Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this role.

Required Skills and Expertise

● Bachelor’s degree in International Development, Project Management, Communications, or a related field.
● Minimum 5 years’ experience in project coordination, grant management, or strategic operations within international development or nonprofit settings.
● Proven success managing complex projects and delivering high-quality reports for funders (experience with GAC-funded projects is a strong asset).
● Exceptional organizational, communication, and writing skills.
● Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
● Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
