Job summary

Dokainish & Company is seeking a Project Controls Manager to lead planning, execution, and control of large-scale capital projects across sectors. The role is in-office in Toronto and requires relocation or GTA residence.

You will oversee schedules (Primavera P6), cost control, risk management, and EVM while mentoring consultants and serving as the primary client contact for project controls matters.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of total project experience, including at least 5 years in a project controls management role.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; equivalent experience accepted.
• Advanced degrees or professional certifications (PMP, PSP, CRMA) preferred.
• Expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office with advanced Excel.
• Experience leading project controls on large-scale infrastructure, energy, or capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for project controls teams on complex capital and infrastructure projects.
• Develop and implement project controls plans, tools, and processes with PMs and stakeholders.
• Manage integrated schedules using Primavera P6 and other tools.
• Oversee cost control: budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to governance standards.
• Lead EVM implementation and performance reporting.
• Mentor and supervise project controls staff to ensure technical excellence.
