Zusammenfassung

GHD is seeking an experienced Project Controls Specialist to support the Central Canada Region from the GTA or Waterloo. The role combines scheduling, cost control, risk management and earned value analysis within a design/engineering environment.

You will work with Project Managers and Design Leads, apply Primavera P6, Acumen Fuse and Power BI to track KPIs, deliver reports, and help ensure scope, budget and schedule alignment on multiple projects.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma; 10+ years in project controls within design/engineering environments.
• Experience delivering project controls for large, multi-disciplinary engineering projects (industrial/process plants, buildings).
• Proficiency in scheduling, cost control, risk management; knowledge of earned value, CPI, SPI.

Aufgaben

• Implement project controls for projects or portfolios, including scheduling, cost control, change management, and risk management.
• Hands-on delivery of project controls activities based on project needs and resources.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to manage controls functions and KPIs.
• Provide recommendations on financial, schedule and other implications to meet KPIs.
• Review budgets and schedules with key leaders; identify gaps and provide solutions.
• Review change notices aligning with change management processes.
• Coordinate with Finance to ensure budgets and invoices are accurate for timely client invoicing.
• Coach and mentor project controls staff on best practices.
