Job summary

Canada Life is seeking a Senior Program Manager to provide end-to-end delivery leadership for large, complex programs within the Insurance Technology Portfolio. You will lead multiple projects, oversee governance, and collaborate with senior business and technology leaders, vendors and stakeholders to achieve strategic outcomes.

The role demands 10+ years in program management, strong leadership, and expertise in budgeting, risk management and executive-level reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience managing large and complex projects.
• 3+ years leading complex programs or multiple interdependent projects.
• Proven leadership with senior business and technology stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for end-to-end delivery of complex programs.
• Provide leadership across Project Managers and delivery teams.
• Identify and manage cross-project dependencies, risks, issues, and resources.
• Partner with leaders to drive decisions and maintain alignment.
• Manage program financials, forecasts and resource consumption.
• Lead governance and executive forums with program health visibility.
• Develop program roadmap, integrated delivery plan, governance, financials and resources.
• Develop executive dashboards and reporting for integrated delivery.
• Work with third-party vendors to manage plans, dependencies, and budgets.
