Job summary

The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement’s Infrastructure Planning and Priorities Branch seeks a Senior Program Engineer for a one-year term. You will lead the CCM group within Asset Management, overseeing consultants and delivering FCA-related data for decision-makers. Report to the AM Director and supervise engineers and specialists to advance infrastructure renewal.

The Opportunity:

The Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement’s Infrastructure Planning and Priorities Branch is recruiting one dynamic and motivated individual to join the Asset Management (AM) team as a Senior Program Engineer for a one-year term. The AM team administers the Facility Condition Assessment (FCA) program for public buildings in Saskatchewan including government owned facilities, health-care facilities, K-12 schools and advanced education facilities. This program assists decision-makers in planning for long-term infrastructure renewal. The role will lead the Consultant and Client Management (CCM) group within AM that focuses on managing consultant led FCAs, providing strategic budget support and managing client deliverables.

As Senior Program Engineer, the successful candidate will report to the Director of AM and lead a team of engineers and technical specialist. The successful candidate will have the confidence and experience to collaborate, communicate, research and problem-solve along with a team of highly motivated engineers to deliver the FCA program. Our work provides critical data and reports for the Ministry’s facility condition metrics that result in better decision-making for government spending on infrastructure.
