Engineer, Major Maintenance (18 Month Term)

Salary (Annually): $88,212 - $110,280 (MC5)

Candidates who do not have the required years of experience may be considered and evaluated based on their relevant experience to determine their appropriate level.

We are looking for a dedicated Engineer who demonstrates a balanced blend of technical proficiency, analytical thinking, effective communication, and a commitment to ownership, accountability, and ethical professional standards.

In this role, you will provide professional engineering services to a broad range of activities primarily related to the operations and maintenance, rehabilitation, and dam safety activities at the dams and associated works. The successful candidate will prepare and support the preparation of work plans, reports, budgets and expenditure forecasts, and activity tracking spreadsheets required for the management of the operations and maintenance, rehabilitation and dam safety activities and associated works.

You will also conduct inspections, evaluations and assessments of project components; and prepare or review reports, drawings, and other technical data to ensure adequate documentation of work activities, project conditions and performance

The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil Engineering or a similar engineering discipline, a license to practice professional engineering from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS) and 4 years of related experience.
