Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the integrated long-range operations plan (5-year horizon).
• Translate volume forecasts, growth plans and objectives into actionable requirements.
• Contribute to the manufacturing roadmap with Production and CORE teams.
• Collaborate with Procurement to integrate supplier strategies into the long-range plan.
• Understand capacity scenarios and evaluate impacts on resources and costs.
• Establish long-term projections for hourly, temporary and salaried workforce.
• Coordinate with Human Resources to align eCAR needs and requisitions.
• Support annual strategic planning and executive reviews.
• Produce executive dashboards and KPIs to measure progress.
• Serve as central liaison across Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, HR, Finance, PM.
• Prepare analyses and recommendations for the executive committee.
• Facilitate decision-making with integrated operational, financial, and organizational views.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Long Range Planning (LRP), the Strategic Operations Planning Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating, and maintaining the integrated long-range operations plan with a five-year horizon. The analyst ensures alignment between business forecasts, manufacturing strategy, operational capabilities, procurement needs, human resources, and the organization's financial objectives.

As a strategic partner, the analyst works closely with teams across Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, Human Resources, Finance, and Program Management to identify future capacity, workforce, and investment needs required to achieve the company's growth objectives .

The position is based at our Longueuil location, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?

• Develop and maintain the integrated long-range operations plan (5-year horizon).
• Translate volume forecasts, growth plans, and strategic objectives into actionable operational requirements.
• Contribute to the development of the manufacturing roadmap in collaboration with Production and Continuous Improvement/CORE teams.
• Collaborate with Procurement teams to integrate supplier strategies and capabilities into the long-range plan.
• Understand various capacity scenarios and evaluate their impacts on resources, costs and investments.
• Establish long-term projections for hourly, temporary (YB) and salaried (BB) workforce requirements.
• Work closely with Human Resources to align eCAR needs and requisitions.
• Support annual strategic planning exercises and executive reviews.
• Monitor eCARs and associated strategic action plans, holding business units accountable for progress.
• Coordinate and track the progress of strategic operational projects.
• Produce executive dashboards and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure initiatives progress and goal achievement.
• Act as the central point of coordination between Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, Human Resources, Finance and Program Management functions.
• Prepare analyses and recommendations for the executive committee.
• Facilitate decision-making by providing an integrated view of the operational, financial and organizational impacts of proposed scenarios.

Travel and variable schedules may also be required for interactions with suppliers, partners, and internal sites (manufacturing and assembly).
