Senior Product Manager - Enterprise Service Management

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

SAP Sales Cloud and SAP Service Cloud share a set of common platform features used by our customers to onboard, integrate, extend, and scale the applications.

As a Senior Product Manager within the Customer Experience Team, you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to define, develop, and deliver features that underpin our product and use cases. You will define detailed requirements, collaborate with UX to develop concepts, and ensure successful delivery working closely with development teams, in a cloud-consumable manner, supporting information roll-out to customers, partners, and field organizations.

Our product managers must be customer-centric advocates for the product, versatile, demonstrate leadership qualities, and be enthusiastic about tackling new challenges as we continue to innovate.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  1. Contribute to the product roadmap and execution for SAP Enterprise Service Management.
  2. Prioritize and maintain the product and release backlog, ensuring alignment with development, UX, and support teams, focusing on integrated processes.
  3. Manage stakeholder alignment, especially with other development organizations, GTM, support, consulting, and partners.
  4. Drive customer and partner engagement, working closely with customers in co-innovation environments.
  5. Focus on customer adoption of products and new developments.
  6. Create an environment of continuous learning and support a culture of innovation.
  7. Build customer-desired solutions with an attitude for co-innovation.
  8. Address complex problems using state-of-the-art approaches in a cloud environment.
  9. Maintain a solution-oriented attitude in a highly innovative and dynamic environment.
  10. Collaborate effectively across global teams.

IDEAL WORK EXPERIENCE

  1. Deep practical experience in agile product management, ideally in major cloud-native enterprise software vendors.
  2. Proven success in building and executing product roadmaps, including requirements collection, backlog definition, and scoping.
  3. Deep technical understanding of cloud-native enterprise solutions.
  4. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, including data gathering, hypothesis structuring, and developing recommendations.
  5. Domain expertise in customer relationship management processes is a plus.
  6. Successful independent leadership of software development programs/projects, with practical experience in software development and/or product management.
  7. Understanding of product management frameworks.
  8. 7+ years of relevant experience in product management, solution management, or related consulting roles.
  9. Experience in CRM/ITSM and platform capabilities.
