Nomad is seeking a Senior Product Engineer to own end-to-end delivery of AI-driven SaaS features, defining the patterns, conventions, and review standards the team will follow. You’ll ship work from vague customer problems through design, build, and monitoring with strong ownership and accountability.

You’ll thrive in a startup environment, balancing minimal process with a high standard for quality and scalability.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years shipping production software with ownership of a domain
• Startup and SaaS experience in fast-paced, high-ownership environments
• Fluency with modern AI-assisted and agentic development tools and reusable patterns

Responsibilities

• Turn vague problems into validated tickets and own them through design, build, ship, and monitor.
• Set architectural patterns, AI/agent conventions, and review standards for the team.
• Own the area you work in so it stays healthy when you focus elsewhere.
• Make informed decisions on when AI should touch code or data and justify them.
