Job summary

Nomad is building the financial operating system for fleets, combining fuel cards, real-time transactions, invoicing, and working-capital finance. We are a small, fast-moving team that values precision and practical AI-powered products.

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to own features end-to-end across React, TypeScript, Node.js, and cloud deployments. You will build secure, scalable apps and apply LLMs/AI to real-world workflows.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience designing and developing REST APIs and backend services.
• Strong understanding of modern software architecture, testing, and development practices.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or a comparable cloud environment.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, code reviews, and production deployments.
• Hands-on experience building or integrating AI/ML capabilities into production applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain secure and scalable applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and React.
• Build and maintain REST APIs, backend services, and user-facing applications.
• Architect and implement cloud solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Own features end-to-end, from design and development through testing, deployment, and production support.
• Review code, troubleshoot production issues, and provide technical guidance to team members.
