Job summary

TEEMA Group represents a global leader in fund services and corporate governance, seeking a Senior Product Designer for the Toronto hybrid role. You will own design across a product area, running discovery with stakeholders, defining jobs-to-be-done, mapping flows, and delivering end-to-end designs with development-ready handoffs.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in senior design roles, strong communication, systems thinking, and proficiency in Figma and FigJam.

• Own design of a product area within a complex B2B financial services platform from discovery through development

Our client is a global leader in fund services, corporate governance and related asset services with staff across 80 offices worldwide.Launched in 2024, the Experience Design group was created to bring enterprise?level impact through world class design practice. The team partners across the organization to deliver strategic value in customer experience, digital transformation, process and organizational design, and product development. Our mission is to embed design as a core driver of business outcomes.The Senior Product Designer will join a Global Design group that contributes to a range of product and strategic initiatives by participating in every aspect of the design process, from discovery and ideation, to prototyping, testing, iterating and product launch.The position is based in Toronto and may require some international travel to other company locations. The Senior Product Designer will report to the Principal Product Lead and interact with business stakeholders and technical groups.This role has a clear path to Principal Product Designer.

What you will be doing:

• You will own the design of a product area within a complex B2B financial services platform, from discovery through to development support
• Run product discovery with business stakeholders and subject-matter experts
• Define requirements as jobs to be done with clear success criteria
• Map processes, tasks and system flows before designing screens
• Deliver task flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity designs and user stories through to a documented, development-ready handover
• Plan and run moderated user research
• Work with engineering on technical and data implications while designs are still in progress
• Identify where steps can be automated or AI-assisted, and design the human review around them
• Work with the design system team to ensure UI/UX consistency
• Thoughtfully simplify and distil complex, regulated processes into intuitive and elegant UI

What you must have:

• A systems thinker who makes complex flows, data and integrations easy to understand
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, with technical and non-technical audiences
• Must be able to lead your workstream’s sessions within larger collaborative workshops, and collaborate closely across disciplines
• Comfortable with ambiguity: you frame the jobs to be done, agree success criteria and keep the work moving
• 5+ years in a Senior Product Designer, Senior UX/UI Designer or similar role, ideally on multi-system B2B products in a regulated industry
• Bachelor’s degree in HCI, Design or similar, or equivalent education and experience
• Proficient in Figma and FigJam
• Experience in fund administration, investor services or alternative investments is an asset, for example investor onboarding, KYC/AML or order processing

Salary/Rate Range: CAD $110,000 – CAD $140,000
