Job summary

Payments Canada is seeking a Senior Product Analyst for the Emerging Payment Products portfolio. You will translate complex product strategy into granular specifications and detailed journey flows, collaborating with UX/UI and engineering to deliver intuitive experiences.

You will manage the product backlog, support testing, and develop briefing notes and visual reports to guide senior leadership. A strong finance/payments background and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

Undergraduate degree in Business, Economics or related discipline.
5–7 years in business analysis, product management or project management in financial services.
Experience with payment ecosystems and real-time payments is a strong asset.

Responsibilities

Translate complex product strategy requirements into granular specifications and journey flows.
Collaborate with UX/UI and frontend engineering to refine layouts and user flows.
Maintain product backlog in Jira/Confluence with clear user stories and estimates.
Support testing validation to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Develop dashboards and executive presentations to translate data into recommendations.
Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders across the organization.
