Job summary

CPL is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead two core areas: Land Development and Building MEP services, including data centre MEP. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team, mentor engineers, manage client escalations, and own monthly P&L and revenue forecasting.

You will report to the SVP & Managing Director, Global Engineering Operations, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and strong cross-functional collaboration with senior management.

Qualifications

• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of engineering experience including land development and/or building/ data centre MEP design.
• Proven people-management experience with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience managing department P&L, budgets, and revenue forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day engineering leadership across Land Development and Building MEP Services.
• Balance resourcing, priorities, and staffing across departments to ensure adequate support.
• Act as liaison between departments and bridge technical teams with project delivery.
• Serve as primary client escalation contact and maintain strong client relationships.
• Own department P&L, track revenue, costs, and profitability against targets.
• Review electrical and mechanical designs and provide technical oversight for data centre MEP.
• Oversee project delivery through design, coordination, construction, and close-out.
