Job summary
Egis Canada seeks an experienced Electrical Engineer – Team Lead, MEP to lead and grow our electrical building-services capability in Canada. This senior role combines electrical engineering, project delivery, client engagement and people leadership across commercial, institutional, transportation, aviation and other building projects.
You will mentor engineers, drive technical QA/QC, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, support proposals and pursue new opportunities while ensuring
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
- P.Eng. designation in good standing with a Canadian regulator, or eligibility for registration.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive electrical engineering experience, with significant MEP/building electrical design experience.
- Minimum 5 years of Canadian consulting engineering experience involving building electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day technical and people leadership to electrical engineers, designers and BIM staff.
- Lead planning, design and delivery of electrical systems from concept to commissioning.
- Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, architectural, structural and other disciplines.
- Champion engineering quality and QA/QC processes across projects.
- Support proposals, scopes of work and business development for MEP electrical practice.
