Job summary

Agilus by Synergie is seeking a Senior Power Systems Engineer (P.Eng) to lead the design, analysis, and delivery of complex electrical power projects for utility, industrial, and commercial clients in North America.

The role emphasizes project leadership, client relationship development, mentorship, and cross-disciplinary collaboration while advancing safety culture and technical excellence. Travel within North America is expected as needed.

Qualifications

7+ years of power system engineering experience.
P.Eng designation or eligible for immediate registration with APEGSD.
Knowledge of Canadian Electrical Code and IEEE standards.
Experience with power systems software (ETAP, SKM, EasyPower, EMTP).

Responsibilities

Lead LV/MV/HV electrical design projects.
Perform power system studies (load flow, short circuit, arc flash, harmonics, grounding).
Develop protection/automation philosophies, relay settings, schemes.
Review and approve technical reports and deliverables.
Manage project budgets, schedules, resources and client expectations.
Coordinate engineers, designers and staff for project execution.
Support proposals, client engagement, and business development.
Mentor junior engineers and promote safety culture.
