Job summary

Delta-Q Technologies in Vancouver seeks a Senior Power Electronics Engineer with deep expertise in switched‑mode power conversion, feedback control, and battery charging applications. You will lead high‑performance power electronics from concept to production and provide technical leadership across NPI, Sustaining, Advanced Engineering, and R&D.

You will design and validate PFC, LLC, PSFB, flyback and DC‑DC systems, develop digital control, and mentor teams while collaborating with Product

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 10 years hands-on experience in power electronics design and development, including leadership of released products.

Responsibilities

Lead power electronics projects from concept through production.
Define requirements with Product Management and cross-functional teams.
Own power converter architecture, topology selection, modeling, and validation.
Design AC-DC PFC, LLC, PSFB, flyback, and isolated/non-isolated DC-DC converters.
Develop and optimize digital control algorithms; perform stability analysis.
Design and validate magnetics, sensing, gate drives, and protection circuits.
Debug and characterize systems across lab, manufacturing, and field environments.
Lead root-cause analysis and resolve issues during development and production.
Support safety, EMI/EMC compliance and regulatory requirements.
Mentor engineers and share knowledge across teams.
