Job summary
Delta Wye Engineering Ltd is a Canadian-owned engineering consultancy delivering power and control system solutions for industrial clients. We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer who will lead electrical studies, manage design packages, and engage directly with customers to guide projects from planning through commissioning.
You will work with a tight-knit team, mentor junior engineers, and help shape company growth while traveling within North America as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
- P.Eng. with Engineers and Geoscientists BC or eligibility is required.
- 7+ years of electrical engineering experience in industrial sectors.
- Experience with electrical drawing packages and design.
- Substation design and MV/LV distribution experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead electrical projects from feasibility through commissioning.
- Develop and review electrical drawings, specs, and reports.
- Oversee substations, MV/LV distribution, grounding, lighting, and cabling design.
- Perform power system studies (load flow, short-circuit, arc-flash).
- Mentor engineers and collaborate with customers and vendors.
- Prepare scopes, schedules, budgets, and technical proposals.
- Conduct site visits and commissioning activities.
- Provide technical guidance to multidisciplinary teams.
