Qualifications

• Experience writing proposals and reports, leading discussions, and synthesizing information into policy positions.
• Experience building intergovernmental partnerships with First Nations governments and federal/provincial departments.
• In-depth knowledge of housing and infrastructure issues affecting First Nations.
• Superior verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Ability to facilitate meetings and coordinate stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and interpret statistics and qualitative data related to First Nations issues.
• Develop policies by interpreting data and engaging key stakeholders.
• Draft briefing notes, speaking notes, and correspondence for senior management.
• Plan and participate in sector-specific work plans and cross‑government collaborations.
