Senior Policy Analyst (and Office Lead) – Bilingual - Timmins
Northern Policy Institute (NPI) is seeking a full-time Senior Policy Analyst (and Office Lead) for a three-year contract (renewable) in Timmins, Ontario.
The Senior Policy Analyst will be responsible for guiding a team of researchers, interns, and summer placements. They will monitor the development and growth of the various regions that make up Northern Ontario. The role involves identifying best practices and evidence-based solutions to support regional growth and prosperity. The Senior Analyst will also develop and participate in a network of professional connections.
Key qualifications include solid analytical and writing skills. The candidate should be able to assess policy implications, apply comparative evidence, and support proposed policy changes or solutions. A master's degree with at least two years of experience is preferred, but candidates with a diploma or bachelor's degree and at least five years of practical experience are encouraged to apply.
Bilingualism is required. Multilingualism or knowledge of Northern Ontario regions would be assets.

NPI values multilingual engagement and offers a $1,500 salary increment for fluency in Anishinabemowin, Oji-Cree, Cree, Michif, or French alongside English.
