A leading construction firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Ottawa to lead the delivery of mid-rise residential projects. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of project management experience, particularly with multifamily developments and a proven ability to manage large-scale budgets and teams effectively. This position offers a competitive salary up to CA$150,000, an annual performance bonus, comprehensive health benefits, and 4 weeks of vacation.
Qualifications
8+ years of project management experience in multifamily/apartment or mixed-use developments.
Proven success managing consultants, contracts, and budgets on projects $50M+ in scale.
Expertise in pro forma analysis, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Mastery of scheduling tools and techniques; ability to anticipate risks and build recovery plans.
Exceptional communication skills – able to manage up, down, and across with influence and authority.
Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of large-scale multifamily and mixed-use developments.
Direct architects, engineers, and third-party consultants.
Take full ownership of project financials and monitor budgets.
Build and manage master project schedules.
Negotiate, execute, and administer contracts with GCs and consultants.
Provide clear updates to senior leadership.
Collaborate closely with development, construction, and operations teams.
Lead the team with clarity and purpose.
