Job summary

Michael Page International (Canada) is recruiting a Project Coordinator for a high-rise residential program in Ottawa. You will support planning and execution, coordinating trades, managing schedules and budgets, from pre-construction through close-out.

Reporting to the Senior PM, you will review drawings, RFIs and change orders, track action items, ensure safety compliance, and help drive milestones on a major multi-year project across the Greater Ottawa Area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience on high-rise residential construction projects.
• Full project cycle experience on at least one mid/high-rise new build.
• Experience in pre-construction, tendering and bid leveling.
• Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Strong understanding of sequencing, building systems, and site operations.
• Experience with scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera) and construction management platforms (Procore).
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing mid & high-rise residential construction projects from site mobilisation to project completion.

• Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, inspectors, and suppliers to ensure milestone achievement.

The organisation is a well known self performing Residential Developer, specialising in the construction of Mid & High-rise new builds across the Greater Ottawa Metropolitan Area.

Job Description

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a new Project Co-ordinator with direct experience working on Mid & High-rise residential projects to support the successful planning and execution of their current projects, most notably a major multi-year multi-phase project that is currently under way.

Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the project co-ordinator will play a key role in coordinating trades, managing schedules and budgets, and supporting day-to-day project operations from pre-construction through close-out.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in managing Mid & high-rise residential construction projects from site mobilisation to project completion

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience working on high-rise residential construction projects
• Demonstrated Full project cycle experience of at least one Mid or High-rise new build
• Experience in pre-construction, tendering and bid levelling
• Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, building systems, and site operations
• Experience with scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and construction management platforms (e.g., Procore)
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with developers or general contractors on projects 10+ storeys
• Exposure to concrete forming, envelope systems, and interior finishes in residential towers
• Knowledge of Ontario Building Code and local municipal requirements
• PMP or working toward professional certification (PMP, Gold Seal) considered an asset
